In Anthony Scaramucci’s short time as White House communications director, he ran afoul of senior advisor Steve Bannon. Bannon is a white nationalist, who formerly ran far-right website Breitbart.
Apparently, Bannon didn’t warm to Scaramucci because he considers him not white and “too ethnic,” according to White House insider “Orange Throat.”
“Bannon made a snide comment in a meeting that he didn’t consider Scaramucci white because he was Italian. Apparently, Italy is too close to Africa,” said Orange Throat. “He called him ‘off white.’”
Scaramucci was fired in a White House shakeup that was likely engineered by new Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelley. One of the last straws was a profane interview he gave with New Yorker writer Ryan Lizza. During the interview, he accused Bannon of “sucking his own cock.”
However, Trump apparently liked the interview.
“But I’m very happy with Anthony. I think Anthony is going to do amazing,” said Trump, a few days before firing him.
